About us

Dashmote is a tech startup based in Rokin, Amsterdam. We are working to bring Artificial Intelligence-based solutions to marketers, bridging the gap between images and data for clients like Unilever, Philips, L’Oreal and Coca-Cola. We bring value to our clients in areas such as Location Analysis, Trends Analysis, and Marketing Intelligence.

Over the past year, our small team has solved a wide variety of cases, such as analysing beer drinking and hairstyle trends using our visual recognition tool, as well as identifying prospective leads by deriving insights from the maps. Role Description

You are an enthusiastic people-person with an empathetic understanding of the customer’s needs and a passion for business growth. Additionally, you have a natural affinity for acquiring customers and closing deals via research, analysis and customer relation management.

Some of the typical responsibilities are:

  • Identifying, connecting and actively engaging with key targets, influencers and decision makers inside an organization
  • Proactively acquiring customers and building a network through market research and cold outreach plans
  • Setting up sales funnels and managing their performance
  • Supporting the sales process by making pitches, writing and reviewing proposals, and performing administrative tasks
  • Making sales strategy decisions by defining which industries and individuals to target
  • Developing and negotiating contracts
  • Providing detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Traveling for in-person meetings with partners and customers in order to develop and manage relationships
  • Managing junior sales and business development employees

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Marketing Technology or with our target groups
  • Experience working in emerging technology markets
  • Experience working in a leading role in a sales team
  • Results-oriented with a strong interest in business development and technology
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Energetic and proactive personality
  • Excellent sales and social skills: comfortable interaction with anyone, including executive and senior figures
  • Deep knowledge of market trends and the market technology industry
  • Preferably based in Amsterdam
  • Fluent English and preferably Dutch for writing and speaking
